Die Broschüre ist da! Zum Projektabschluss von „Pop-und Subkulturarchiv International

Liebe Alle,

wie schnell die Zeit voranschreitet. Wir sind auf der Zielgeraden unseres dreijährigen Archivs-und Bibliotheksprojekts „Pop-und Subkulturarchiv International“

Und endlich ist es soweit! Unsere neue Broschüre über Bibliothek und Sammlung ist angekommen!



Auf 40 Seiten, großartig designt von Judith Fehlau und mit Illustrationen von Tine Fetz, haben wir für euch Infos rund um unseren Bestand gesammelt. Zu welchen Themen gibt es bei uns Bücher und Fanzines? Welche Arten von Videos findet ihr in unserer Sammlung und welche digitalen Materialien haben wir archiviert? Find out!

Lisa Schug nimmt Abschied vom Archiv der Jugendkulturen

Kurz vor Ende unseres dreijährigen Archiv-und Bibliotheksprojekts „Pop-und Subkulturarchiv International“ hat uns letzten Freitag Lisa Schug, wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin des Projekts, vorzeitig Richtung FFBIZ- Das feministische Archiv, verlassen.

Today is a very sad day for us because it’s lisas last day at our archive.
She worked with us for about three years and yeah, what a (sometimes) bumpy but also joyful ride it was. A lot has changed in these years. The old building where our archive was located in for many years got recently teared down (as you can see in the second picture) and lisas hair grew much longer. Those curls 💓
Her work ethos is astonishing, always helpful and equipped with many skills (we were and still are lacking), super accurate and so many times miles ahead of us when it comes to archival knowledge. She has a strong political stance (in the best way), is sometimes stubborn (in the sweetest way) and super smart (in the most humble way). Patiently she listened to a lot of silly ideas and when she laid hands on it often something very professional came out of it.
But what is even more important, she is such a beautiful human being who loves what she does and what makes her very passionate about it. Mark our words, she will grow into one of the coolest archivists in Germany.
The @ffbiz_das_feministische_archiv is so lucky to have her back. She will be missed dearly but we are pretty sure she will continue to shine and that our roads will cross again. Thank you for all your patience and for bearing with us. We are forever thankful for the time you spent with us, for all the possibilities to learn from you and so sorry for being less professional than you expected us to be
